Heroes Folios: Savage Flower Kingdom Expansion


Designer Notes: This is a collection of expansion given to me by Pierrot sometime last year (2014). Starting from Magic Folio if I remembered correctly. He sent me 3 expansions and that was before Darkland: Savage Flower Kingdom. I promised him to draw the cover for it and that was a long time ago (I'm sorry man). Hopefully it did the folio justice.

In the booklet, there is expansion on Characters, Magic and Equipment! So, what are you waiting for. Download it now!

    2. I did it! Need playtesting and will have to fix it with new/different skills but I'm going to use that in my games.

      Gunner
      HP: D6+8 CP: 7

      Skill: Pick 1 reserved, then 1 more (reserved or not).

      Reserved skills: Dual wielding, Slow-mo dodge, Sharpshooter.

      Dual wielding (as in p.7 Heroe's Folio)

      Slow-mo dodge: Before attacking add a number to Def up to the Combat ability, and the attack roll(s) is lowered of the same number.

      Sharpshooter: +1 to hit with firearms (+2 if mastered).

      Handgun 1hand, ranged, Dmg: d6 (crit x2) Pr: 5
      Revolver 1hand, ranged, Dmg: d6+1 (crit x2) Pr: 8
      Rifle 2hands, ranged, Dmg: d6+3 (crit x2) Pr:10

    4. it's just the opposite of Red Dwarf from Heroe's Folio: For a round you get a bonus to Defense (up to the Combat stat) and get a penalty of the same number to all attacks.

    6. great.. I was thinking about some other abilities like "Gun Fu" that lets you use firearms (that are ranged weapons) in melee with -1 penalty...but I'm not sure.

      I forgot to say that bullet cost is the same for arrow/bolts!

      still thinking about making some more abilities, like "Pistol whipping" for example, to use firearms as melee weapons with 1d6 damage and no bullet cost. But not so sure...

    8. I didn't know you drew a character, I just drew a gunner myself. Keep up with the ability for the Gunner class.

  2. Here's a little idea.

    Different ammo types? So the gunner could be more proficient at certain scenarios.

  3. Is there a kobold class? The background section mentions them.

    Great game by the way. The illustrations make me happy every time I look at them.
